Loved by Children, Trusted by Parents.
Seriously! But don’t take our word for it, here are some things people have to say about us.
Ms. Emily laid the foundation for music to be used as a form of communication, a source of joy, and priceless memories in my family. Spending time in Ms. Emily’s class has positively impacted my confidence in parenting and my daughter's confidence in general. There are an infinite number of kind words that could be said about Ms. Emily- she is simply the best.

“
It's rare to find someone who has the ability to connect with each unique child AND parent. Ms. Emily is just one of those rare gems! She has been such a wonderful addition to our "village" and we look forward to seeing her every week. We LOVE Ms. Emily, and music class!
— Laura S., Parent
“
Emily is a highly skilled musician and has a clear passion for childhood education. She also makes the room light up everywhere she goes. Not only that, but she knows how to make music fun for all ages, even in the middle of a noisy room full of chaos-causing toddlers. Now that's talent!

You’ve got questions,
we’ve got answers

When you sign up for an 8-week session, your spot is always guaranteed each week. Drop-ins are only available in classes that are not full, so you may not get a spot in the class you want. Families that are registered for 8-week sessions will receive take-home materials including a beautifully illustrated coloring book of all of our songs, an instrument, access to a curated playlist of our songs, and access to online classes.

You are your child’s first and best teacher, so throw inhibitions aside and play along! Participating with enthusiasm is the best way to get your child engaged in class.
-
Your child is encouraged to participate in whatever way they are most comfortable. Some children sit and observe without outwardly participating. Some children sing and play along. Some children wander and babble and explore the space. All of these are age-appropriate ways to participate in class. We do not require that your child sit still and quietly in your lap. Just play along and your child will soak up the benefits of class.
-
Parents, grandparents, or other adult family members are always welcome. Some of our classrooms are very small, so please check with Ms. Emily if you plan on bringing more than one extra adult. Siblings over the age of 6 may tag along for class with permission from the teacher.
-
In most cases, we will follow CMCSS weather closings. When in doubt, check your email or social media for updates.
-
Mixed-age classes are beneficial (and backed by research) for children’s development. Older children get to act as helpers and models, while younger children get to learn from the older kids. Also we love that the whole family can come together, no matter how many siblings there are!
-
Our Babies and Crawlers class uses the same curriculum, but a gentler approach and pace for our littlest learners. Your baby would be just fine in a mixed-age class too, so choose whatever day/time work best for your schedule.
-
Absolutely! This class is the perfect way for your big kid to experience an education setting outside of your home. Class sizes are small and your teacher is knowledgable at teaching both music skills and life skills. We learn about much more than just musical concepts. We practice social skills, independence, and building confidence.
-
Parents are welcome to sit on the outdoor benches, in their car, or run errands during our Big Kids Class. Khairos Coffee is right down the street and has a gorgeous courtyard!
-
We do! Siblings are discounted in our Big Kid and Family Classes. In Family Classes we offer a sibling discount for the first sibling, and any children beyond that attend free of charge. Siblings under 9 months and over 6 years old attend Family Classes free.
Let’s foster a lifelong love of music. Together.
